Timber Timbre - Self- Titled + Bonus Disc - 8/10 Funnily enough I prefer listening to this on the stereo than my discman

Grinderman - Grinderman 2 - 7.5/10 It's ok. Some great tracks and some weak ones.

Quite a good month

Holly Miranda - The Magician's Private Library + 5 track cd of covers - 8/10 - this one's a grower. I expect over time the rating could rise up to a 9.

Liars - Sisterworld + bonus cd of remixes + 4 track cd of exclusive songs - 9/10 Excellent!

Ali Farka Toure & Toumani Diabate - Self-titled - 9/10. I'm a fan of Malian music so this hit the spot.

I still think that the Free Energy album will crop up soon!

If I'm not mistaken March's core album will be the Free Energy one - Can't wait! I'm also hoping that the new Joanna Newsom will be included as well.

Well Well Well it seems The Album helped me start the new year in style!

These New Puritans - Hidden + a very good bonus Cd - 9/10 A great companion to those rainy days. I tested it out while walking in stormy weather and it felt marvelous.

Jesca Hoop - Wearing My Dress - 8/10 Another excellent winter album. Slightly unbalanced folk with great melodies!!

Fanfarlo - Resevoir + a great bonus cd of radio sessions - 9/10 Unfortunately I bought this one already months ago but the bonus cd compensates nicely.

Let's hope I don't get a duplicate for Feb!!
