Last one of the year Core Album Rachel Zeffiera - The Deserters + Bonus Disc 8/10 - took me by Surprise Lindstrom - Smallhans - 8/10 The Allah-La's - Self-Titled 8/10 Quality all around. I have a feeling that next month's artist is Serafin Steer but I have to admit I secretly wish that the Berberian Sound Studio Soundtrack will be in my Jan pack.

Rough Trade Album Club - October 2012 Pack

Second strong month in a row! Core Album Tame Imapala - Lonerism + bonus disc of live tracks and remixes 9/10 easily one of the best albums I've heard this year. The rest Daphni - Jiaolong 8/10 Caribou's rave side project Dark Dark Dark - Who Needs Who 7/10 not as good as the previous album Wild Go but maybe in a few months my opinion will change. November hmmmm Stubborn Heart??

Its a strong one! Core Album Toy: Self-titlled + Bonus Track - 9/10 Stealing Sheep - Into the Diamond Sun - 8/10 Yeasayer - Fragrant World - 8/10 Incidentally this means I have received the whole Yeasayer discography via the Album Club) October's core album is Tame Imapala - woo!

Rough Trade Album CLub - August 2012 Pack

A very good month indeed! Core Album: Venice Dawn - Something About April + Bonus CD 8.5/10 excellent, the club should focus on more stuff like this in the future. A great blend of hip hop and soul. Opossom - Electric Hawaii 8/10 - great DIY indie pop. Baltic Fleet - Towers - 8/10 danceable instrumental album. Next month's core album - Toy???? Metz??? we'll see!

Not a bad month Core Album Chilly Gonzales - Solo Piano II + bonus track - 8.5/10 - took me ages to get into it but then it all made sense after a couple of weeks. Peaking Lights - Lucifer - 7.5/10 Bobby Womack - The Bravest Man in the Universe - 8/10 August (actually I already received it) Venice Dawn. I love it when the club plugs a hip hop cd

Pretty good actually Core Cd Friends - Manifest! + Bonus CD - 8/10 - took a while for me to warm to this one. The Smoke Fairies - Blood Speaks - 8/10 - more gutsy than the debut Crocodiles - Endless Flowers + bonus cd - 7/10 - its ok. Next month - I'm guessing Saint Saviour
