Rough Trade Album of the Month Club - December 2014 Pack

No bonus cds but it's a very strong selection! Core album: Smoke Fairies - Wild Winter - 8/10. third time I've received a Smoke Fairies album from the Club. In 2013 I got their second album, Blood Speaks and last year I got their self titled third. Wild Winter is a Christmas album that was recorded for the club so I guess it's a rarity in it's own right. The Drink - Company - 8.5. Great mix of US indie and indie pop. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - I'm in your Mind Fuzz - 8/10. Aussie garage rock! yay! Upcoming: January: Ghost Culture or Liam Hayes. February: The Districts. March: Clarence Clarity.

Core album Caribou - Our Love + Bonus Cd 9/10 Definitely one of the year's best albums The other two: Goat - Commune + Bonus cd 9/10 Excellent. A Winged Victory for the Sullen 8/10 It's post rock - a genre I'm not too crazy about but I'm getting used to this. November: Hookworms December: Liam Hayes January: Ghost Culture Compared to last year, the quality of the albums have nothing short of great - I hope this consistency will be kept!
