Rough Trade Album of the Month Club - August 2013 pack.

Can't complain about this month Core album is Satellites - 02 + Bonus cd. 8/10. An excellent followup to this guy's debut. A little bit more melodic but still grandiose. Houndstooth - Ride out the Dark - 9/10. Fantastic debut. Absolutely perfect. Alela Diane - About Farewell - 7.5. Back in 2007 Alela Diane's debut was the core album. This one isn't as good as the Pirate's Gospel but the last three songs are amazing. plus I received a Domino Records sampler! next month - Factory Floor????

Daughn Gibson - Me Moan + Bonus Disc - 8.5/10 what a great album! Melt Yourself Down - Self-titled - 9/10: Can't stop listening to this one Maps - Vicissitude + Bonus Disc - 7/10: I also received the Maps debut, this one is that strong but there are good tunes. Next month - I'm guessing Satellites

Rough Trade Album Club - March 2013 Pack

If any of you know, the RT Album club is dead and has been replaced by something called Albums by Adventure. Unfortunately as I am not a UK resident, I cannot subscribe. However all the albums of the month are displayed so I will choose the core album and two others. I'm not happy with this but it's all I can do for now. Core album: John Grant - Pale Green Ghosts + 2 bonus discs. 8/10 Jacco Gardner - Cabinet of Curiousities 7/10 Caitlin Rose - The TSand In + Bonus Disc 7.5/10 Core album for April is The Knife :)
